Laura Jacobs - Principal

I have been dancing since the age of 3 and have worked in many dance schools in Derby as a freelance teacher in Ballet, Tap, Freestyle, Latin American, Street Jazz and Cheerleading. I am a qualified IDTA Dance teacher and NCSSE Cheerleading Coach with 5 years experience and a further 3 years experience in assisting dance classes. Away from my dancing I am a qualified Primary School teacher with a BEd in Primary Education. I am extremely keen to make dance enjoyable, yet challenging, for all ages and I strive to cater for every single child’s needs and abilities.

Katie Howcroft - Teacher

After graduating from theatre school in 2009 where she studied drama and musical theatre, Katie has been in professional shows and children's entertainment, including an annual pantomime, Shakespeare at the RSC in Stratford and various plays. She has also taught for the last 6 years, conducted drama workshops for all ages and taken music, movement and drama sessions at day care centres for infants.
